Kristiansand Symphony Orchestra is an exciting and engaged orchestra of 71 musicians. Chief Conductor is Nathalie Stutzmann. First Guest Conductor is Julian Rachlin. Guest conductors in 2019/2020 includes Giordano Bellincampi, Hans Graf, Andris Poga og Gemma New among others. The orchestra’s active concert season includes a full symphonic subscription series, educational and outreach programs, as well as cross-over, light classical and chamber music. The Kristiansand Symphony Orchestra’s main performance venue is the 1180-seat concert hall of the Kilden Performing Arts Centre, which opened in 2012.
